Are you really trying to suggest that he was referring to estimated sales for the fiscal year ending 7/31/12 in a September 2010 article?

You seem to be having a little trouble accepting this:
He was referring to Fiscal 2011, which is the 12 month period ending July 31, 2011.
The term Fiscal XXXX ALWAYS refers to the period ending in the year XXXX, not the year beginning in XXXX.
