Can anyone answer the following that was posted on YMB.....


"I don't short stocks so I am not well versed on some scenarios that may occur with stocks like CCME.PK.

What happens to short positions if CCME.PK receives and accepts a buyout offer? For example, if an investor is short CCME.PK at $9 and they are still holding the position -- and the company receives a buyout offer for $11 -- what happens to the shorts if the buyout offer is accepted by the CCME BOD and the offer is from a legitimate PE group with solid financing?

Sorry for a dumb question but just curious."
