Couple years ago we were discussing future memory applications, and I asked about cell phones.

Then, earlier this year, Samsung announced a next generation cell phone chip available in either SDRAM or DDR formats in the second half of 2005. Where there is SDRAM and DDR, no reason there can't be XDRAM, right?

Given Mr. Gates remarks this week about music and email delivery to cell phones, and the announced cross-licensing between Toshiba and Microsoft, what do you think the chances XDR finds its way into these devices in a few years?
