Yes, all the "conspiratorial" items start coming to mind, like detention centers, domestic military force as strong as current military, national forced ID, leaps way beyond the TSA authority, tracking by multiple methods of all citizens, "not a Christian nation" statements, etc.

Combine all of these, and it's not a pretty picture to think about for living under a government heading this direction, is it?
