And-why does everyone act like the MM's are "accumulating" or "stockpiling" cheapies?

I could be wrong here, but I don't think I am. IMO MM's hardly ever buy and hold shares. Especially not in stocks at these levels. They make their money off of spread differentials. It doesn't do them any good to "accumulate" cheap shared if they can't turn around and sell them at the ask - which as of right now they can't with this morbid volume.

So, IMO it's in no way logical to assume that the MM's have anything to do with the sell offs. It's more than likely a bunch of people who want to avoid the R/S.
