Those have to be the Preferred Shares. What is strange is that they were never supposed to be restricted.

The brokerage must have decided to close that account and didn't know what to do with those shares, so they sent them to you. It had been specified that the Preferred were virtually cancelled if you didn't use them to buy discounted common shares which were supposed to be the restricted shares.

Now I am wonder what is with my 1/2 TRILLION (literally!) which are still listed in my Scottrade account.
