What hype? There has been almost no PR in 6 months.
The end of that relationship is not old news. It was just announced. Logic dictates at one point they were applicable, which is why Valcent made payments to them. As the product has been altered, adjusted and refined, it would appear the new leadership had the notion and raised the money to pay some lawyers to see if we still needed that patent access. Apparently the lawyers decided recently that Valcent did not.
It would appear you are correct on this point. So, I guess it is a good thing that the company got new leadership and that that new leadership took a step back and had this issue evaluated by legal counsel.
I have had both e-mail and verbal conversation regarding my initial inquiry as to why no progress update. I think the company is missing the boat as to updating shareholders and I still intend to write a detailed e-mail to them regarding why I think they are missing the boat on the shareholder communication front. But, as I have gotten older, I have learned not to write to someone when I am annoyed and plus I have been busy with some other stuff and have not gotten to it yet. It will be written.
Some may find this last statement as bickering, but I do not care. If you truly see zero evidence to have any confidence, then you simply do not want to see any. New management has paid off/addressed over 2 million in debt, cleaned out some duplication in the company, is working on new image (initial evidence being the new website) and has saved the company millions in future payments by having lawyers examine the patent and Pagic issue.
