Of course, you are correct that there is no discernible pattern to help predict buyouts. But, until your dogmatic response, I was enjoying a delusion that I had some aptitude and intuition for picking a buyout candidate.

In the case of MNTA, I am not even wanting a buyout. I am enjoying the ride and believe so far they are deploying cash strategically and smartly. A buyout would mean I would have to figure out what to do with the cash instead of MNTA.
