It actually says that April 15th is the date to withdraw or make changes to abstracts. Why does everyone say we are getting new info tomorrow???



Good question. I'll answer. Because the people posting this stuff have no clue how this works.

Read the release from yesterday. They will present the AGENDA trail results at ASCO, along with some other stuff. The AGENDA results were released to the public in a PR a long time ago.

This is why I have YELLED about the hype here. You don't send new information to scientific conferences. You release the data to the public, then prepare the final results for presentation and publication.

What they are releasing now about OS will be published FORMALLY later. For now they will be just release the top-line results in a PR.

Now the question is, why even cloud the picture? I think they are getting the effect they have gone after- Making people think they are going to release something they are not.

However, there are late breaking results released at these conferences. Maybe that is what they are after. If you go to the ASCO web site look for the title "Late Breaking".
