WiFi calling is not the same as seamless handoff between public and private licensed spectrums.

Anyone can make a VOIP call over WiFi without infringing on our patent. The fact that T-Mobile is now offering wifi calling on all of their phones is not a problem for the current lawsuit.

This is a means of offering clients a value-add while saving bandwidth on their cell towers, but it does not represent the holy-grail of ASNAP.

ASNAP allows you to seamlessly switch between cellular and wifi and back again WITHOUT dropping the call. The software continually monitors signal strength and availability of connectivity options and then switches between them, billing you at a different rate depending on your method of connecting.

AT&T is interested in both our patent and T-mobile's extensive WiFi hotspot network in many of the regional markets that they are currently struggling in. Acquiring both would be huge for them.
