All that means imo is that when you bought, there were shares available at bid, and hence you got some for cheap. I'd be pretty happy with that. The buys v sells is only based on where the trade was executed, at bid or ask. So if you bought at bid, its "technically" a sell. Pretty much meaningless though. I just call it all the same - a "trade"
