In 1999 the company did have a US audit done. The auditor went to Bangladesh and spent a month looking at everything in detail. Guess what happened? Bashers trashed the auditor. Made 200 calls a day to his office. That's going to happen again. There is an audit taking place by a US firm and when it is released, my guess is that you will all have your same questions. "How do we know the audit isn't a fake?" "It says on line 15 that they spent $400 on stamps. No real company spends $400 on stamps!"
They cannot post on the boards because anything they post will be attacked by the bashers and put down as company hype which is really worse than what is already happening.
They're doing road shows now. They hired a different IR firm. They replaced the "crappy website". They are putting much more detail into their PR. They released the unaudited 3rd Quarter financials. They are busy buying trucks and doing deals. The guys at Veltex Transportation took the time to take truck pictures. They are answering your phone calls. It seems to me they are being as responsive as they can and still remain within the law.
YES! Ask the questions! However, once you have asked the questions and received the answers, you will continue to have doubts raised by bashers who complain that all the trucks aren't painted the same color or the audits for Year End 2002 are not ready in November 2002.
Do your due diligence! But also pay attention to what you learn and not to "VLVT is a SCAM" "VLVT is a SCAM" "VLVT is a SCAM"
