Gopher Gold. The worse mistake i ever made in stock was puting a market buy. Us say someone puts in a sell order at $10 tommorow, and goes to work. More than likely your friends order would get filled to the point of how much money your friend has for that $10. In my opinion its always a very bad ideal to put in a market order.
