SFIO's RE/AL electronic cigarette is the world's first 100% smokefree and vaporfree e-cig on the market. The product does not include liquid nicotine (which results in the vapor emission of other e-cigs), but rather uses unique filters that contain the nicotine. When you inhale the RE/AL e-cig, a censor senses the pressure and immediately signals to the heating coil to begin heating. Here is a description of this process taken from SFIO's 2010 Annual Report:

"Heated nicotine method. Nicotine evaporates at a fairly high temperature so the air must
be sufficiently heated within the device before passing over the nicotine. A number of
companies, including SFI™, have used various technologies to heat up nicotine until it
vaporizes and releases a controlled measure through a cigarette-like device. These are:
BlueSky, NicStic, BelAir and SFI™. Of the four companies, only SFI has been able to
instantly generate enough heat within a cylinder the size of a cigarette to vaporize nicotine
and SFI™ has applied for patent protection of its technology.
"

The product is available in Virginia Blend, American, and Menthol flavors.

The main marketing strategy SFIO will use (and its edge of the competition) is the fact that there is no vapor whatsoever in RE/AL. I have heard of instances where friends of mine have been "vaping" in local bars and restaurants where they have been asked to stop smoking and emitting the smoke. My friends have described time and time again that what they were smoking was, indeed, not a real cigarette, but rather an e-cig with vapor. However, the managers of these places received many complaints because other customers thought it was real smoke due to the vapor emitted. This is the edge SFIO has on the competition. THERE IS NO VAPOR EMITTED. Thus, other customers of these places will have no complaints whatsoever. Because there is no odor or vapor. It is basically the same as sucking on a lollipop, in a sense.

Additionally, I have heard others say that vapor e-cigarettes are banned on airplanes, due to the vapor emissions. SFIO's RE/AL vaporless e-cigarette should be allowed on airplanes and if SFIO can get contracts with several airplane lines, this would be huge! Don't forget about the military also. SFIO is working on contracts with the them to make RE/AL readily available for all military personnel.
