Plasticon is following on the tails of Wicklund Petro Company , one of the largest Oil/Gas Compamnnies in the 50's. Oil crunch of 70-80's did them in , beside already being rich, why worry - just retire. My Dad and GrandPa put Wicks gas in their cars.

All this is my OPINION based on Aunts and Uncles living in Florida. And remembering my childhood.
