Futures Contracts

I like IB because they have universal accounts. You can trade stocks and futures out of the same account. But I would have to subscribe to something like Sierra Charts, and an es emini is 2800. I've subscribed to Vectorvest charts for a couple of years, but they don't offer futures or the tick and trins of the exchanges. Vectorvest and Scottrade work for swing trading, but since I'm studying day trading now, I need a direct access broker.

There's a couple of reasons, though, I'm looking at Tradestation to begin. Have you tried them?
