Well my experience with Russian workers, just on a recent project that I was contracted to inspect was a very eye opener! We had a crew of our friends doing the exterior of this building, EIFS, plaster, metal stud framing, drywall. This crew of approx 30 were fresh over from Russia, very broken English, very direct.
When pointed out deficiencies, it was corrected immediately. When repetitious deficiencies were found, personnel were change on the spot. They started exactly on time, break on time, resumed work on time and didn't quit one minute early...every one of them. Their work ethic and personal integrity, honesty, and admission to faulty construction surpassed even our eager south of the boarder friends by a mile!
So, if that is what RP will be dealing with in Russia, partnering with Russian entities, combined forces engaging in project simultaniously......it's going to be on the straight and narrow!!!
Now of course.......I did look behind me for any men in black suits with sunglasses and ear piecies....when I made a deficiency call.........LOL
