CHBT, DEER, LFT - Is there a new game in town called "rip off the shorts" ?

DEER, LFT too recovered from the recent hit pieces exceptionally well. With no shares available to short, what can the shorts do to protect their short positions, naked puts especially, if the hit pieces now work only temporarily?

Maybe someone is trying out a startegy of waiting for the hit piece, letting it drop, making sure no shares available to short,(even better if they are on SHO list), and then load up quickly and squeeze the shorts?

Interestingly, some suspect companies w/out hit pieces continue to drop, while CHBT and DEER, which seem to have more evidence against them rally back... very weird.
