I disagree! Why is it their job to protect anyone's investments. Their only responsibility is to get the best price they can for what ever trade is prompted by their client. They have disclaimers protecting themselves from clients bad decisions. They do not need to second guess the folks paying them to place their orders. JMO! I have a TDA account. Can not average down through TDA. Can't see the benefit.
