I thought this post was interesting on another board from way back...

I really believe it's a scam. And the explanation you received sounds like a classic scam script.

Phones are gonna be made by Solectron in Nicaragua? Well the Solectron company that makes 3G phones (http://www.solectron.com/index.html) doesn't mention any Nicaragua plants on their web site. But a classic scam tactic is to sign contracts with a foreign company using a name that sounds like an affiliate of a reputable American firm. CLYW's 10Q has a paragraph with mentions of "Selectron" but actually says:

"The
Company has entered into a contract manufacturing agreement with Selection, S.A.
to manufacture the products using the machinery and equipment owned the Company."

Selectron ... Selection ... well maybe it's just a typo in the 10Q ...

Or maybe it's just a scam.
