Morning all, well it is 5/11 and I
have reason to expect material news today or at least by Friday. It is not unreasonable to expect good news for the "common shareholders, so let's hope we don't have a long wait to the weekend. Jeff and James WILL come thru.
I was quickly running things over regarding the QASP saga last night and wished I knew more of the facts, because it is convoluted indeed. It is quite fascinating to note that most of the discussions over the last months have revolved around legal aspects and the interpretation of such. I will seldom use legal or financial terminology when I post, because lets face it, who but a lawyer or accountant understands the jargon. Much the same as visiting a cardiologist or entomologist and wondering what the heck did they say. It's an ego trip and sets them apart. It's amazing how many posts I have read that are nothing more than a bunch of recycled text used to teach and end up confusing, because no one knows what the real facts are. Yes JoC has committed tortious interference, of course we all know what that is don't we? that wonderful word "Tort" used in so many instances! Enough, off the soap box.
QASP and JoC: I keep wondering why JoC continues to act the way he has, what is his true motivation. I mean we all know the man is a scam artist and lives by stock manipulation and whatever else. But he is different to the likes of Bernie Madof, he doesn't take and then embezzle others money, he gets them to , well y'all know. So why has he, JoC, stepped over the line from company and stock manipulation, which is serious enough, to downright, well tantamount to, criminal actions? I am not a criminal lawyer, so the repercussions of that is best left to the courts.
Without the facts, it does look very much as though he is absolutely panicking about keeping the price of QASP shares down. He has been doing everything possible to this end and in the process has now stepped over the line I mentioned above. (criminal actions, ie. false filings, contempt of court order, etc.)
If he hadn't stepped over that line, I just think he would have won, in fact on the stock side he probably has won.
Think about it: With the prospect of a stock offer/swap and no date set for cut off, therefor the cut off date being when the offer is made. Why has the stock not shot up with peeps trying to get in to take advantage of the swap? BECAUSE JoC has thrown everything at it, including posting, engaging with posters, spreading rumours and so on, generally scaring the hell out of peeps and getting them to hold off. He has been very successful at this and if he had just continued with that he probably would have made it. BUT more panic and that is where he stepped over the line.
I think our anti C. as, cat and many others have suspected, is in very deep with a real bad bunch. Perhaps launderers, or whatever.
One thing for sure, we, the common shareholders have an offer coming up that will placate us and be a win, the QASP stock will probably tank after that and JoC will have won and succeeded in covering, BUT has now landed himself in anther and very different load of dog doo doo.
Food for thought while we wait.
