The city was actually pretty sedate, although there the streets were lined all up and down the street with some people. It was interesting to see that almost every piece of the Red Army's equipment was at best Vietnam-era vintage and just painted up, not impressive at all. Very much low-tech from everything I saw...and not anything like we're hearing on news about a Russian built up in arms??? Oh well, can we believe ANYTHING the Main Stream Media tells us!
But, it was great seeing this up close and 20 feet from my nice bay window at the hotel. I felt like I was watching the USSR...maybe 20 years ago. No worries about Russia being a threat to us, that's all I have to say.
