The Company has stated they have secured facilities in Freetown to store the Placer Sands. It takes about four 48 gal. drums to make a ton of Placer sands. From their camp by the river to the paved road is a few miles tops, then paved road, 3 to 4 hours to Freetown.
Shipping out of SL is not that difficult, load the drums into 22ft containers, wait for the ship to fill up, that could take weeks to months, and off it goes. Then you pay for for ground transportation to go from the Port to your final destination. Prices for shipping are easy to find. The shipping info comes from a friend in the business.
Nobody knows who can process Placer Sands to Monazite, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monazite and then process the Monazite to REE's. I have spoke to many chemical engineers at many companies, none could help me.
There are companies that will buy the Placer Sands for the gold, however the Company can do that fairly easy, on site. The Company could store the Sand till a place is found to process them. That has to be done carefully since the sand can be radioactive.
