I totally agree with your opinion. Too many times companies go off looking for other avenues of revenue and forget that their core business really is their strong point. I never got a real warm fuzzy feeling when we were pursing acquisitions in the entertainment industry such as movie production companies and musical one hit wonders. I've been burnt in the past after investing in movie and entertainment companies with high profile board members, and then have the whole company collapse without any revenue. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel somewhat relieved that we probably won't be pursuing acquisitions in the entertainment field, at least not right now it would seem.
I think SDVI should concentrate on their strong points, i.e. gaming and related social networking. I think that will prove to be in the best interest of the investors of this company.
I also agree with the earlier comment from a poster, that the way RJ announced his termination from 7th Level was not a proper or professional way to handle the news of his departure. To make the announcement on Facebook was in my opinion, not the way a truly professional person should have handled it. I think it was a parting shot at KH but all he accomplished was to set doubt in the minds of the investors, which was an unfair thing to do at this juncture.
I'm hoping that we will receive news from KH which will help to alleviate our concerns regarding the departure of RJ and uplifting news concerning all our other questions.
