The other stores you are talking about are Cowgirls Espresso, Bikini Hut & Java Girls International.

Cowgirls' owner, Lori Bowden, is an investor of Baristas (she helped set up the first few Baristas stores in WA) & Baristas bought out Java Girls International.

Oh, and reply to your last statement... They said the same thing for Hooters. Hey, more controversy, the better!
