I agree: For one they released this in the afternoon time instead of the morning before the stock market opens. I think this is just a ploy to gain some attention before releasing even better news.. If so then tomorrow morning before open time we should see what they were ramping up toward. I see no other reason why they would restate something we all already know except to gain interest from potential investors right before letting out better news.... Guess we shall see tomorrow.
