ClickSoftware Announces Contract Award From The United Illuminating Company For


Optimized Scheduling
Solution; ClickSchedule optimizes field force scheduling for UI

BURLINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 17, 2002--ClickSoftware
(Nasdaq:CKSWE), a leading provider of end-to-end service optimization
solutions, today announced the licensing of its ClickSchedule software
solution for The United Illuminating Company (UI), one of
Connecticut's largest utilities.
The Connecticut-based utility provides electricity and
energy-related services to more than 318,000 customers in the Greater
New Haven and Greater Bridgeport areas. ClickSchedule will be
implemented as a fully integrated component of Axiom Corporation's
Mobility Mobile Workforce Solution suite of products.
ClickSchedule, a schedule optimization solution from ClickSoftware
will provide a platform for dynamic scheduling, real-time crew
optimization by dispatchers, street-level routing of service personnel
and second-to-none emergency response capability for customers.
