I was asked a question about the 11 various Lehman shares. I used safest as a relative term to describe the best of those 11 that are tradable. My response was:

Are you are asking me which are the safest Lehman shares to buy?
They are all risky, but I only hold CT shares.

Those CT's came with an "Unconditional Guarantee" in their prospectus. I filed a claim as such, and my claim has not been dissallowed. The subordinate bonds did not have such a guarantee.
But I am sure you already knew this since you are an expert on the President of the United States.
