It's not about how easily accessible or how exotic the animal (Turtle) is. It's really about how emotionally attached the kids are to the animal...Cats and dogs are a dime a dozen, but kids flock to see those movies too...has anyone heard of Beverly Hills Chihuaua? Marmaduke? the list goes on...
