My unsolicited advise is this- remember the old saying " Bulls make money, pigs get slaughtered," figure out how much you need or want, make it and get out if you worry about how much you didn't make because you sold to early you will lose more often than you win. If you own a large block of shares you need to come up with an exit strategy as this is a supply and demand driven market. Therefore if you dump a ton of stock into the open market all at once you will drive down your own sell price and devalue what you are trying to sell thereby effecting the value of your holdings.IMO
