I was looking through some of the boise city projects and found this project: Boise Airport Enhanced CCTV Project

http://www.demandstar.com/supplier/bids/Bid_Detail.asp?_PU=%2Fsupplier%2Fbids%2Fagency%5Finc%2Fbid%5Flist%2Easp%3F%5FRF%3D1%26f%3Dsearch%26mi%3D10276&LP=BB&BI=219329

It was awarded to some contractor in Idaho who has relations with Syrnga, who is a partner with MDGC.

Project description:
This Design-Build contract is for enhancements to the existing Boise Airport CCTV video surveillance system and includes design, procurement, installation, electrical, communication cabling, networking, training, warranty, and technical support services. The scope of work consists of replacement of existing RAID array storage with Storage Area Network with approx 35 days of storage capacity, replacement of multiple individual application and file servers with new blade servers, installation of single mode optical fiber into the security network, replacement of existing network switches with Cisco Catalyst 6509 series switches to create a 10 Gb/s Ethernet backbone, replacement of approx. 20 analog fixed cameras with new SMPTE 274M (HDTV) resolution cameras, addition of adding current fixed and PTZ cameras, addition of four 46" commercial grade video wall monitors with HDMI capability, addition of a 208VAC UPS and distribution panel board, addition of approx. 6 video control/view workstations with monitors and UPS units, license, permits, software upgrades, and associated work, as well as approximately 20 add alternates.

Possible connection?

I thought looking though the Boise City website could give us insight into projets going on in the city and future projects.

There is also another project called Telecom Refresh. It also has the same contractor listed.
