Congrats to the government for finally getting Bin Laden. Most see this as a victory, and I am grateful for the closure. But, if you consider that for ten years, multiple trillions of dollars, the loss of thousands of American lives and loss of our freedoms, this man has done quite a bit to destroy this powerful nation. He has certainly crippled it.
I'm sorry, but my conspiratorial thoughts can not seem to stop. I'm not drawing any direct conclusions, but I do find the following uncanny:
A week ago, the name Leon Panetta started getting buzz as the head of the CIA and the news that he would soon be up for head of the military. Now we hear that the CIA, and Panetta were responsible for the intelligence that led to OBL's death. We also hear that Obama targetted getting Osama as a priority and gave the command to initiate this attack. A week ago, the Obama birth certificate finally surfaced.
Suddenly, Obama has snatched victory from the jaws of defeat, and he looks better. New highs on the DOW, springtime. If he brings the troops home and opens the U.S. up for drilling by American corporations, he is going to be smelling like a rose. Things that make me go "Hmmmmmmm".
