Sunlogics is at best a company with a tie to both GM and Energizer in spite of the fact that the CEO has more lawsuits than I have socks, Jack Deliddo is in bankruptcy court, they have a fake Dr. with more fake relationships doing the marketing.

As far as it goes, I think that's a pretty reasonable assessment. I think at least a few details are worth adding.

The touted ties to GM and Energizer are very, very tenuous.

The "tie" to GM -- which has been grossly miscontrued as a "partnership" by many here, including director-in-waiting Sass -- consists of a proof-of-concept solar-canopy charging station for which there is no evidence that GM paid so much as a dime. In fact, given that we have one announcement that Sunlogics transferred the installation to Sunlogics Power Fund (SPFM) Management and another announcement about a week later from SLMU that SPFM had agreed to purchase the installation from Sunlogics, it is highly unlikely that GM had any direct financial stake in it.

The "tie" to Energizer is every bit as tenuous. There have been no official announcements at all about this purported connection -- unlike the big deal made out of a supposed Energizer link to Sass Peress's former solar outfit, ICP. (It does seem more than a bit odd that Sunlogics is now credited with developing portable solar panels for Energizer just like ICP was doing before it went into the toilet.) It is worth noting that the solar panels in the photos are identified as "concept" panels. And that panel, inverter, battery and -- wait for it -- toaster setup is just about as hokey as it gets.

It is probably also worth noting that the CEO with more lawsuits than you have socks didn't just suddenly fall on hard times due to the economic downturn. The guy has been the defendant in lawsuits dating back more than a decade.

The Deliddo bankruptcy proceedings are also interesting, not least because of the "fraudulent transfer" actions.

I don't think much more needs to be said about the bogus PhD and his relationships.

I really don't see how, according to your assessment, Sass's "decency to try to do the right thing," offsets any of the above or lends support to a belief "that we can make money and then maybe advance the discussion on renewables."

All the best.
