Maybe,
After you told me you bought the June 2s, I decided to do the same thing. I bought contracts for all of my shares at .25 and sold the shares for around 2.15
The reason I did this is because I have been caught by ESLR pump and dumps before. I was long since about 1.80, so I booked a profit and have options which will cover the next earnings report. If the stock jumps, as I suspect, I'll just exercise my calls and stay long.
If the stock sells off, I won't lose anything and will wait until it bases to reload for next earnings. I am sure that within 12 months ESLR will be $10+.
If we get a pullback tomorrow to 1.80 or so, I will probably buy more Sept $2 calls. Because of what I did, it's all gravy and no risk. I'm in a great position.
