Not the same thing. First of all, an investment club has to be registered as such so its combined activities can be monitored. Secondly, investment clubs do not manipulate bids and asks in illiquid stocks.

I used to have investment clubs as my clients and there is nothing similar with Monks Den at all to the way they operate. They have to follow specific rules.

The reason all of the newbies got wiped out in this scam is because they knew nothing at all about the rules of the road and were ripe for a scamster like Williams to take their money.

What about 10 housewives that form an investment team and put in $10 each per month?
