I have some associates who have had dealings in China with some of the largest companies there as partners and in all cases so far have not ever received the appropriate financials etc or payments from those companies. Even though they had sent their own accountants from U.S. There to review the underlying verifications needed for SEC compliance. I am not speaking about companies that were joint ventured out of the Virgin Islands to circumvent Chinese law but actual contracts for services and products. They really don't care. In addition, Chinese law states that all accounting must be done by a Chinese auditor which has its own set of problems as well.
