I've recommended to the company that they should do some limited open pit mining of alluvial deposits near the rivers (near bends). That way they can "mine" in Oct - May. Dredging can commence in Jan. That gives them some indepence from high river levels and steadier gold/diamond production. Once they have money to buy a front loader and another washplant, they should be able to do this (now will they?). Limited small scale open-pit mining will allow them to produce gold almost year round, instead of only 5 months.
