They want to buy it, yes, but at a steep discount to it's value. They want to license use for an indication, but the attorneys take runs at the IP during negotiations. They want to license everything for a 3 or 5 percent royalty and no benchmarks. They want absolute control over development so that the far less effective treatment already in late phase trials will have time to earn back investment costs of $500 million or more.

The 6 years I've been in NNVC have been a real eye opener to Big Pharma business culture.

Go it alone until the beginning of Phase 2 trials, then negotiate agreements for marketing and distribution. That's my position.
