There is a VERY simple solution to all this.

** The SEC should stop/ban ALL shorting. Period. **

Yes, I know.. it wouldn't be fair to so and so. But when shorting causes so much corruption to the market and the economy, it's time to eliminate it.

Simple.

People can still make money by simply buying or selling a stock. (i.e.: Supply & Demand)
