Like I said, I am not a Bromine expert. I do know that it is used as a biocide and I know that ESPH claims that it eliminates the need for biocides. Several large natural gas companies seem to agree as they tested the process and are using it. Is it possible that Bromine is used for other reasons. I'll leave that to the experts.
