Tivus is introducing the state of the art digital technology platform and Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure that is future proof and scalable while integrating with hotel Property Management System (PMS). This integrated network can provide guest services such as messaging, folio review, express check outs, energy management and other personalized services while providing the core services such as Free to Guest (FTG) programming, Video-On-Demand Programming, a highly secured “High Speed Internet” service and many other interactive services such as gaming. The web enabled digital infrastructure would enable guests to experience a wide choice of programming and special events from around the world. The advertising revenue opportunity the infrastructure would provide through “Ad Insertion” will offset the delivery and distribution cost significantly and thereby making it very affordable. The Tivus system architecture consists of a Network Operating Center (NOC) and local hotel servers connected through a point-to-point broadband network. As each guest access the network the resulting traffic generated is analyzed based on various criteria such as behavioral, geographical, seasonality etc. The advertisers are able to offer products and services tailor made based on certain criteria. Tivus system therefore presents a valuable opportunity for generating new revenue while enhancing guest experience in providing information that is more relevant and interesting to them. Tivus ad insertion technology has the ability to insert targeted ads based on geographical proximity and hotel data.
