Great news!
Former New Mexico governor Gary Johnson has announced his candidacy for president. The media will surely mock him for his pro-legalization stance, but I can assure you that this guy knows how to run a business and state. He is absolutly what this country needs right now. If you care about this country, educate yourself about Gary Johnson and spread the word. Amen!

Former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson announced his run for president on Thursday morning.

Johnson made his announcement on the steps of the Capitol in New Hampshire.

During his speech, Johnson said he believes in smaller government, and wants to get the country’s economy back on track.

"If the Republican Party doesn't return to the religion of the checkbook, I don't see the Republican Party hanging around and being relevant in the future," Johnson said in March.

To balance the budget, Johnson said the country needs to cut Medicare and Medicaid by 45 percent, reform Social Security and stop nation building.

"We're borrowing 43 cents out of every dollar that we're spending. I think that we should get out of Iraq and Afghanistan," Johnson said.

Johnson has often been criticized because he believes in the legalization of marijuana.

"I advocate legalizing marijuana. Control it, regulate it, tax it," Johnson said.

Johnson served as New Mexico’s governor for two terms.
