Don't get me wrong.. I have paid ask when the spread closed up. I am not paying .02 cent a share more than the bid to "make it look good". I do think that where is closes and opens play a huge part in the next trading day because most people don't look at the buys on a prior day. If you see a stock closed at .13 are you going to try to see if the last sell was for 200? Nah you look at the volume, ask and bid.
