My .02 worth tonight. I recently bought a '98 Pontiac Gran Prix GT from a little car lot, and I couldn't be happier.

The car had 66,000 miles on it, and all the maintenance records. It was a local car and the car dealer had the previous owner's name and phone number if I wanted to call her, but I didn't bother.

The car was absolutely spotless on the inside. You couldn't tell it from a brand new one. Every day I've had it I felt like I was getting into a new car every morning going to work. This Pontiac is everything the dealer said it was, and more. This lady had the oil changed every 3,000 miles and I'm going to keep with that schedule, but I think I switch from Castrol GT to Valvoline High Milage. No leaks, no drips, no problems running it up to 100mph and it was as steady as a rock. That 3.8L V-6 was just about to its limit, however.

Paid cash and walked out with the title in my hand. I've had it three weeks now and have driven the heck out of it on our mountain roads. What a bunch of fun that has been.

Couldn't install a Crutchfield CD player without giving up my steering-wheel audio controls, so instead I added an XM receiver, and that's got to be the best $100 I ever spent. I got a Delphi Roady2 from Crutchfield, and it even included the home kit for hooking it into our existing amp.

So I'm grinning, and I wish the same for all of you.
