EarnestDD: Because the company has not made a big deal about the naked shorting of its stock does not mean that it is not happening. In fact, please tell me how many shares are held in certificate form? That information was purposely imho not included in the PR that the company did put out. For all we know that information could have been purposely left out at the request of regulators. In case you missed it I posted previously that every day thousands of documents are signed on behalf of companies by agents yet those agents do not own nor are they officers of the company. I own a real estate company and my agents sign on behalf of the company on every purchase contract.
As far as the FLD concept being illegal I disagree with your opinion and I know you disagree with mine. My opinion is that there is absolutely nothing wrong if a bunch of like minded investors choose to buy/hold and accumulate shares in a small company allowing that company the time it needs to grow. As the supply of shares dwindled the price per share should increase inducing some selling. Once the buying and selling are in balance then the price should be stable. That is how are markets are supposed to work. If however non existant shares are being illegally sold into the market we have a whole different kettle of fish and those who sold them should be ordered to buy them back regardless of the premium they have to pay for them. Go CDIV!!!
