I live in Iowa, know GPRE, know numerous corn farmers, and have helped design ethanol plants, and am involved in anaerobic digester design. You people have no clue as to the massive level of BS that Big Oil is behind to discredit Ethanol, etc. http://www.iowacorn.org/ http://www.iowarfa.org/ I've also talked to Haig on several occasions, and am waiting for the test data with bated breath.

Ethanol production does not affect our food costs, does not use more oil than it offsets, is currently financially viable for plants with 100MGD+ capacity, has room for improvement with new enzyme, lipid conversion and anaerobic digester technologies - and will certainly continue to kick ass as E-20 and E-80 is more widely used.

A major plus is the reduction in emissions from standard IC car engines and engine/valve self-cleaning aspects plus the anti-icing aspect of alcohol's water absorptive ability in fuel systems.

"Big Oil" are the biggest BS lying manipulators on the face of the planet - why the phucque do you think the Government broke up Standard Oil. And, who do you think spends more money lobbying in Dizzy City other than the Big Pharma bastards..???

The Germans were running their vehicles on 100% Ethanol at the end of WWI because they HAS NO GASOLINE LEFT..!!! What the phucaue is our problem..??? The physics and chemistry hasn't changed..?!?

VG Biodiesel could replace all diesel oil required by our trucking industry and provide superior lubrication at the same time.
