Wouldn't It Be Nice If.....
It appears Disney has finally come to an abbreviated format for the GO home page. Wouldn't it be great if they would now build on it to make it a user friendly, user responsive site. Don't need a lot of the stuff they had before. Would be nice to get stocks directly on it--instead of having to log in, and to have message board capability back. Resources to support that type reduced/minimal capability, it would seem to me, would certainly be supported by the greater viewer/user participation that would certainly grow over time. We've lost the battle with Yahoo and AOL. But the long term interest should not wane. Disney is a great tradename with many positives associated (certainly some negatives they've got to work on too) and should not fully withdraw from the market yet to be realized. The potential is still huge. They (and the same story I harped on before when we had GO boards) need adult supervision and commitment to make this thing work. Doesn't have to be at lightning speed--Disney can't move that fast, just needs to be quality with a commitment to customer loyalty--something Walt understood only too well. Go GO!! Let's see some energy to breathe a life into what can still be a great positive for Disney--even though its a terrible stock loss to all the stockholders of DIG (and I am one of them--still).
