That's pretty close. There are 29,000 mg in a oz. One question that has not been answered, and maybe you have the answer. Why did they go with their current method of mining, instead of the original plan of with the dredge and processing plant? If they knew how much gold there was it didn't make sense to go with a inferior method of production.
