Treit: as somebody who is (was) used to the metric system, I was confused by the "chinese acre" vs. "US acre" terminology since both is non-metric, thus non SI (SI= International System of Units introduced in 1960). So I looked up Wikepedia and here is some conversion help in case somebody may be interested:

SI:
1 m2 = 1mx1m
1 are= 100 m2 (now withdrawn from SI to avoid confusion with US acre)
1 ha= 10,000 m2

English (or US):
1 ft2 (square foot)
1 acre= 43,560 ft2 = 4,014m2 = 6.07 (chinese) mu = 6.07 "chinese acre"

Chinese:
1 li= 6.667 m2
1 mu = 100 li = 666.7 m2 = 0.1647 acre
