I give you this as FYI. This is what I believe. The long rectangle trench serves this purpose. By digging it deep and long coupled with the core samples, they have a feel for the depth of the over burden AKA: how much dirt must be removed to get to the Gold layer an average depth in the trench and surrounding core sample depth equals raw dirt to move. The amount of dirt removed from the trench has a measurable quantity of yield. This should give the company a best guess of value received from the effort so far. Future projection from this work would also be a best guess until the time they are they are trucking GOLD out the door.
This will I hope give some comfort to the folks that may wonder why / how PCFG can make what I call a best guess production estimates.
If this is over kill I am sorry sometime I preach to the choir.
This may make it easier to hang touch.
